这正是基督徒原型的缩影:在旧的秩序中觉醒,于濒死之处重生;在离乡之际踏上归天之路,于绝望之中唤醒沉睡的灵魂。他不是弃绝传统,而是穿透表层,回归那失落的伊甸园。
如果亚伯兰曾经是他拉的儿子,当他改名亚伯拉罕后,因为重生,他就成了神的儿子。亚伯拉罕,神的儿子(אַבְרָהָם בֶּן אֱלֹהִים)的数值是386,得出耶稣(יֵשׁוּעַ)的数值,证明作为信心之父的亚伯拉罕是历史上第一个基督徒。

罗得(לוּט)的意思是包裹,在奥秘层面,罗得象征着亚伯拉罕所携带的外壳——那尚未被净化的部分,必须在成长过程中被识别、分离。令人震惊的是,从亚伯拉罕(אַבְרָהָם)的数值248中减去罗得(לוֹט)的数值45后等于203,正好得出:澄清(בָאֵר)的数值。因为分离外壳代表一个澄清的过程,当亚伯拉罕和罗得分离后,罗得被显明为需要抛弃的外壳,而亚伯拉罕则被澄清为需要保存的种子。

所以,亚伯兰,罗得(אַבְרָם לוֹט)的数值之和是288,这是卡巴拉传统需要收聚的288个神圣火花。当罗得脱离亚伯拉罕后,部分火花也被罗得带入了所多玛,这就是天使被派往拯救罗得的原因。

On the ideological plane, he may be regarded as the first “left-wing liberal” in history—for he dared to break away from his father’s worship system and respond to a divine summons arising from the depths of the soul. His departure was not flight but transcendence; not betrayal but return to authenticity.
This is the archetype of the Christian in miniature: awakening within the old order, reborn at the brink of death; setting out on the road to heaven upon leaving home, awakening dormant souls amid despair. He does not reject tradition but penetrates its surface to return to the lost Eden.
If Abram was once the son of Terah, after his renaming to Abraham, through rebirth, he became the son of God. “Abraham, son of God” (אַבְרָהָם בֶּן אֱלֹהִים) has a numerical value of 386, yielding the value of Jesus (יֵשׁוּעַ), proving that Abraham, the father of faith, is the first Christian in history.
Abraham is not only the transmitter of Noah’s tenth generation but also the inheritor of Adam’s twentieth generation. Adam is called the son of God (神子), while his descendants are sons of man (人子). Noah bore the title of son of man, for from him the world was divided into three; Abraham, however, simultaneously inherited the missions of Adam and Noah, becoming the chosen son of God (神子).

The Essence of Lot
In the early stage of Abraham’s spiritual journey, Lot always accompanied him, inseparable as shadow from form. Yet when Abraham returned from Egypt, he recognized that a critical moment had matured—it was time to separate from Lot.
Abraham chose to remain in the land of Canaan, steadfast in the promised territory; Lot turned toward Sodom—that city steeped in corruption and distortion, representing the shell within the spiritual structure.
Lot (לוּט) means “wrapping.” On the esoteric level, Lot symbolizes the shell that Abraham carried—the yet-unpurified portion that must be identified and separated in the process of growth. Strikingly, subtracting Lot’s numerical value of 45 from Abraham’s 248 yields 203, precisely the value of “clarification” (בָאֵר). For separation of the shell represents a process of clarification: after Abraham and Lot parted, Lot was revealed as the shell to be discarded, while Abraham was clarified as the seed to be preserved.
The shell (קְלִפָּה – Kelipah) is the wrapping that obscures the divine light, and Satan operates precisely by means of this obscuring layer. Thus, the shell is the domain of Satan’s activity; shell and Satan together constitute “the other side” (Sitra Achra)—a system opposed to holiness. God created “the other side” to grant humanity freedom of choice on the personal level; humanity’s mission is to clarify and separate the sparks imprisoned within “the other side” (Sitra Achra).
Scripture calls Lot “the son of Abram’s brother” (לוֹט בֶּן-אֲחִי אַבְרָם); the total numerical value of these Hebrew letters is 359, precisely yielding “Satan” (שָׂטָן), revealing that Lot represents Abraham’s shell.
Thus, the sum of Abram and Lot (אַבְרָם לוֹט) is 288—the number of divine sparks that Kabbalistic tradition seeks to gather. When Lot separated from Abraham, a portion of the sparks was carried by Lot into Sodom; this is why angels were sent to rescue Lot.
In the mission to save Lot’s entire household, Lot and his two daughters were redeemed from destruction, but Lot’s wife, because she looked back, was turned into a pillar of salt.
Sodom and Gomorrah
Regarding Sodom, the Talmud (Sanhedrin 109a) states that the sin of its people was not merely sexual depravity but extreme selfishness and cruelty, such as prohibiting charity and punishing those who aided the poor. Ezekiel 16:49 is widely cited by rabbis: “Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fulness of bread, and prosperous ease was in her and in her daughters; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.”
Thus, from a Kabbalistic perspective, Sodom and Gomorrah represent the extreme left-side Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה) lacking the right-side Chesed (חֶסֶד). Under this illumination, if Abraham symbolizes the emerging Christian prototype, then Lot represents the shell that Christians must separate—and this shell is precisely the extreme Gevurah portion within Judaism, which Paul calls “works of the law.” Lot’s choice of Sodom and Gomorrah was not accidental but inevitable within the spiritual structure: he was drawn to the unpurified portion to serve as a medium for separation and transformation.
Just as Judaism has its corrupted aspect—extreme Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה)—Christianity is no exception; by the principle of mirroring, its corruption must be extreme Chesed (חֶסֶד). Although Lot is Gevurah relative to Abraham’s Chesed, relative to Sodom’s Gevurah, Lot is Chesed—this is why he invited the two angels as guests. The mystery of Lot’s wife is precisely the mirror opposite of Lot; she becomes embodied extreme Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה). This is the secret of “Lot’s wife”—Scripture gives her no name but calls her “אֵשֶׁת לוֹט” (Lot’s wife), whose Hebrew value is 746, matching “Christianity” (נַצְרוּת), implying that she represents the extreme Gevurah portion of Christianity, such as the Crusades, the Inquisition, witch hunts, the purging of heretics, and so forth.
This is why Lot could be saved from Sodom and Gomorrah: at that moment he had completed the transformation from Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה) to Chesed (חֶסֶד). This is the mystery of the following verse:
וַיְשַׁלַּח אֶת-לוֹט, מִתּוֹךְ הַהֲפֵכָה
… and He sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow (Gen 19:29)
The word “overthrow” in Hebrew is הַהֲפֵכָה, whose root meaning is “transformation” or “turning over.” When Lot completed his inner transformation, he was saved from the overthrow—his unique experience transformed him from Sodom’s Gevurah into Abraham’s Chesed, corresponding to the Kabbalistic concept of קַלְפָּה נֹגַהּ (luminous shell), denoting an intermediate state that is neither purely good nor purely evil. It envelops divine light yet may also obscure it. Human action determines its direction—it may be elevated to holiness or fall to impurity. It symbolizes the material world in which we dwell, whose essence is an interweaving of good and evil, light and darkness, an intermediate zone.
But his wife could not be saved because she looked back, longing for Sodom’s Gevurah, clinging to the aspect of judgment. She thus represents the extreme Gevurah shell that Christianity must remove. Christianity teaches believers to be “light and salt”: light symbolizes the Chesed of Torah, salt symbolizes the judgment of Gevurah—for salt is formed when sunlight (Chesed) shines upon the bitter sea (Gevurah). To be light and salt always requires the light portion to exceed the salt, Chesed to exceed judgment; yet Lot’s wife had an excess of Gevurah inclination, judgment overwhelming mercy, and thus she became a pillar of salt—a frozen symbol displaying the outcome when Chesed and judgment fall out of balance.
Strikingly, rabbinic tradition reveals that Lot’s wife’s name was אִידִית, meaning “excellence” or “quintessence,” whose letter value is precisely 425, identical to “Judaism” (יַהֲדוּת) and “Sodom and Gomorrah” (סְדֹם וַעֲמֹרָה).
Even more thought-provoking: when we take “Sodom” as the axis and place “Gomorrah” on both sides, forming the three-word structure וַעֲמֹרָה סְדֹם וַעֲמֹרָה, the total value is exactly 746, the value of “Christianity” (נַצְרוּת).
This seems to suggest: upon the dual structure of “Sodom and Gomorrah,” adding one more dose of “Gomorrah” yields Christianity.
Compared to Judaism, Christianity inclines more toward Chesed; compared to Christianity, Judaism inclines more toward Gevurah. On the symbolic level, Sodom represents the core of judgment and Gevurah, while Gomorrah symbolizes a dimension of Chesed. The genesis of Judaism arises from the tension and balance between these two—the intersection of Chesed and Gevurah. Upon this foundation, adding another dose of “Gomorrah”-style Chesed gives birth to the structure of Christianity.
Lot’s Daughters
If Lot’s deliverance from Sodom symbolizes his transformation, as luminous shell (קְלִיפַּת נֹגַהּ), from the attribute of Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה) to the attribute of Chesed (חֶסֶד), then his incest with his two daughters is the manifestation of this Chesed attribute in its extreme state—an overflow after imbalance, a distortion of boundless love.
וַתַּהֲרֶיןָ שְׁתֵּי בְנוֹת-לוֹט, מֵאֲבִיהֶן.
Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father. (Gen 19:36)
The total numerical value of the above verse is 1992, decomposable as 4 × 498, and 498 corresponds exactly to the combined Hebrew letter values of five key figures: Ham, Canaan, Lot, Moab, Ammon (חָם כְּנָעַן לוֹט מוֹאָב עַמּוֹן).
1992 may also be decomposed as 2 × 996, and 996 equals the value of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Messiah (אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק יַעֲקֹב מָּשִׁיחַ), revealing that within the shell of Moab and Ammon born of Lot and his two daughters lies concealed the Messianic fruit extending from the seed of the three patriarchs.
According to rabbinic tradition, Ham and Canaan are the fruits of licentious indulgence in the Flood era; Moab and Ammon are the evil fruits of Lot’s transgression of the Chesed boundary—both are extremes of human lustful indulgence, rooted in the loss of control of Gevurah and the overflow of Chesed.
“Lot’s daughters” (בְנוֹת לוֹט) has a numerical value of 503, equal to “camel, rock-badger” (גָּמָל שָׁפָן)—precisely the first two of the four unclean animals listed in Leviticus 11:4–5. The latter two, “hare, swine” (אַרְנֶבֶת חֲזִיר), sum to 878, corresponding to the value of “Messiah spelled out in full” (מם שין יוד חית).
According to Kabbalah, these four unclean animals symbolize the luminous shell (קְלִיפַּת נֹגַהּ), for they possess both clean characteristics (chewing the cud) and unclean (not cloven-hoofed), embodying the mixture of good and evil. On the symbolic level, chewing the cud represents inner patience and contemplation, corresponding to Chesed (חֶסֶד); cloven hooves symbolize outer discernment and boundaries, corresponding to Gevurah (גְּבוּרָה). These animals lose cleanliness due to lacking cloven hooves, just as good intentions within the luminous shell, if unable to discern boundaries, cannot truly ascend. They become symbols in Kabbalah of “that which may ascend or descend,” possessing potential for elevation yet also risk of fall.
These four unclean animals represent the luminous shell that Christianity must remove, wherein “camel and rock-badger” represent precisely Lot’s daughters—an embodiment of extreme Chesed.
What Lot’s daughters embody is a boundless love—an imbalanced Chesed. Leviticus 20:17 terms incest “חֶסֶד” (Chesed), revealing a profound spiritual principle: when Chesed departs from boundaries, it may degenerate into spiritual confusion, becoming the backlash of good intention. This phenomenon is recurrent in contemporary Western Christian culture, manifesting as love lacking restraint and discernment: appeasement, substituting compromise for truth; unconditional social welfare, shrouding responsibility with pity; excessively permissive immigration policies, neglecting structural and cultural integration in the name of inclusion, etc. These are projections of “חֶסֶד” (Chesed) losing “גְּבוּרָה” (Gevurah)—a state of overflowing Chesed without discernment, ultimately capable of causing structural collapse in society and spirituality.
The sum of the four unclean animals’ values—503 (camel and rock-badger) + 878 (hare and swine) = 1381—corresponds exactly to Genesis 19:29: “וַיְשַׁלַּח אֶת-לוֹט, מִתּוֹךְ הַהֲפֵכָה” (“and He sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow”), thereby revealing that these four categories of animals symbolize the luminous shell (קְלִיפַּת נֹגַהּ) that Christianity must transform.
Strikingly, 1381 also equals the letter value of the phrase קְלִפַּת נֹגַהּ לְעוֹלָם אֲצִילוּת—“the luminous shell of the World of Emanation.” In the Kabbalistic structure, the World of Emanation (עֲוֹלָם אֲצִילוּת) scarcely permits any shell, for it is the domain of pure divinity, without obscuration or admixture. “Moab and Ammon” (מוֹאָב עַמּוֹן) has a letter value of 215, yielding קְלִפָּה (shell), revealing their essence as shell. This is the shell separated from Lot’s luminous shell (קְלִיפַּת נֹגַהּ); when refined, it yields the light of Messiah.
From Moab is separated Ruth (רוּת), who becomes the ancestress of King David, initiating the royal Messianic bloodline; from Ammon is separated Naamah (נַעֲמָה), who becomes the wife of King Solomon, continuing the wise Messianic bloodline. The total value of “Ruth, Naamah” (רוּת נַעֲמָה) is 771, whose midpoint is 386, precisely the letter value of the name יֵשׁוּעַ (Jesus).
